One of the main reasons for expanding to this beautiful new location
is to better serve my wonderful and loyal Dressage Done Right clients.
With more than 25 years of experience, we now have a first-class
facility to compliment our full range of services.
For those of you who are considering us, here is a little bit about
me and my love of horses---which is the cornerstone and main motivation
for Mattapoisett Stables and Dressage Done Right.
After receiving my BS in Pre-veterinarian medicine in 1986, I have
experienced the horse world from Europe to Canada and throughout
the US. I have enjoyed many different levels of competition---from
Windsor Castle in England at the Royal Horse Show, to the FEI Dressage,
to many years in the Florida circuit in Wellington, to competing
in Dressage, Hunters and Sport Horse in the Arabian World.
I have managed farms large and small and have enjoyed working with
a variety of top professionals Now, I have a chance to make my dreams
come true here at the Mattapoisett Stables.
A little more about my philosophy: I care for every animal as if
it was my own. To not have one horse feel left out or to need anything
I plan to offer that to everyone of our clients and customers. I
feel I have the ability to improve on every horses training either
it be a hunter, jumper, dressage, driving, equitation, western etc.
. I have also helped buyers find horses throughout the years. It
is such a wonderful feeling to match the right horse and rider!
The Mattapoisett Stables is also my home. A home because I enjoy
people I want others to feel that my door is always open. The one
thing that all horse people have in common is OUR LOVE for OUR ANIMALS.
This usually includes for many, a dog or cat or two as well. I would
like to have the opportunity to board and care for those animals
as well, if needed.
Since opening The Mattapoisett Stables, I have brought home my
25 year old Grand Prix horse, Calador. He has been with me for many
years and has lived at some fancy stables as well as some small
backyard stables. I can honestly say, he has never seemed happier.
Nor have I.
